Grandchildren are the Best
"the Beauty of creation"
"The Story Behind the Film"

Two years ago my
two sons Tim and Andrew, their friend Kris and I decided to go on a weekend
October camping trip to Ricketts Glenn State Park in Pennsylvania.
Ricketts Glenn is a beautiful place, my favorite, and possesses a very challenging but incredible 6.5 mile hike up and down a 2,400 foot mountain overlooking thirty-four breathtaking water falls.
I have hiked this trail more than 50 times and always leave refreshed and blessed at God’s incredible creation.
But this particular year was hard to put into words. Getting an early start for the mountains on Friday, Andrew and I packed up and headed for the hills. When we arrived in the afternoon, and began to set up our tents and equipment, the Forest Ranger came by and told us that a major snow storm was unexpectedly heading in our direction. He told us we could stay and face the elements but most everybody in the camp site had cancelled. By that time Tim and Kris had arrived with even more bad news about the weather. Twelve to Eighteen inches was expected over the weekend. So we battened down the tent hatches and decided to stay. I had always wanted to see the falls in ice and snow.
When we woke up on Saturday morning the storm was just moving into the area. At the same time we started our hike.
What a wonderful opportunity we had as we saw God’s fabulous handiwork in his creation. We had our professional HD video cameras with us and filmed some fantastic winter scenes.
I trust you will enjoy this short film and consider it a refreshing celebratory thank you and God Bless you from all of us at Prison Outreach of Delaware, “A Ministry Focused on the Word of God.”
We are fully committed to sharing the Gospel of Christ behind the bars.

Ps. The music I chose for this video I believe expresses both the beauty and might of God expressed in his amazing creation.
