AUGUST 2010 Financial Update
We started the month of July with a beginning balance of $6,149.00.
We started the month of August with a beginning balance of $4,163.00.
We started the month of September with a beginning balance of minus $1,200.00.
This puts us in an emergency mode.
At this point, because there are no reserves remaining for the general fund, staff pay checks and expenses will be written only after deposits are made and money is available.
As of September 5th more than half of our ministry staff have not received their paychecks for the past week.
There has been
No increase in wages for the ministry staff
Cathy Joulwan has been taken on as a staff member, but has a very low income, no
retirement, no health insurance or life insurance
There has been a reduction in the following categories
Auto allowances have been reduced from the IRS allowance of
$0.45 per mile to $0.35 per mile
We have eliminated EZ Pass reimbursments
Our Goals
We want to build our finances to a 3 month reserve of $60,000
We are in dire need of equipment (at least 2 computers)
We would like to bring all of our staff up to a living wage
